Dr. Carisa S.E. Novak D.C., C.A.d, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Novak is a third-generation chiropractor. She decided at a very young age that she too had a thirst in serving others through alternative health care. Having been raised in a “chiropractic lifestyle” (a lifestyle free of immunizations, needless hospital visits, antibiotics etc.) she dedicated her life to heightening others awareness to the possibility of achieving their health goals through the same arena.
Graduating from Life Chiropractic College West in Northern California in 1998 her education began. She then delved into the world of Nutrition Education through studies with the International Foundation for Nutrition and Health. These studies led her to managing a successful clinical nutrition practice, by helping her patients with health challenges that once limited their happiness and quality of living.
Her thirst for knowledge continued in 2001 through the mode of Addictions. Dr. Novak and her father soon realized that many of their patients were facing severe chemical addictions that limited their lives. She realized that to really serve her patients needs in becoming free of all health ailments; she needed to find ways to release them of their dependencies. She graduated from the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders in 2002 with Board Certified achievements in Addictionology. She helps manage programs at Boshoff Novak Chiropractic that assist patients in their struggles from eating disorders, smoking cessation aid, and compulsive personality management of conditions such as Attention Deficit Disorder.
In 2004 she trained with the Auricular Institute of California to learn ways in which she could further assist her patients and community in breaking free from the bonds of pain.
